The "best convention center in the industry" according to Meetings South magazine in a 2004 survey of readers, the Convention Center is 1.3 million sq. ft., of which 440,000 can be configured as contiguous exhibit space, and 203,000 sq. ft. is configurable meeting room space with up to 67 separate room divisions. There is a 40,000 sq. ft. ballroom, and a 2,521 seat theatre.

Airport Convention Center
With as much as 35,000 sq. ft. of open space, the Airport Convention Center is located within a mile of the airport in the center of the northern business district. The Airport Convention Center is the leading rental facility in the city with a retail orientation in part due to its very limited bureaucracy.
