San Antonio Attractions
There are so many attractions in San Antonio it's difficult to know where to begin. Almost everyone has heard about the lush, almost tropical Paseo Del Rio or River Walk nestled below street level in the heart of the city. Shops, galleries, restaurants, cobblestone walks, murmuring tour boats, truly the pride and joy of San Antonio. A short walk brings visitors to the famous Alamo where perhaps the most famous battle of the Texas Revolution took place in 1836. There are many other things to do in San Antonio: visit SeaWorld; swim at Splashtown Water Park; play at Six Flags Fiesta Texas; golf one of the great courses in the city; browse the many shops at Market Square; admire the work of local artists and craftsmen at La Villita; marvel at nature's beauty in the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Guenther House will remind visitors of the city's 19th Century German immigrants. Cheer on the Spurs when they play home games against other NBA teams in SBC Center. Hold your breath while daredevils race around the San Antonio Speedway, the only asphalt half-mile track in Texas and one of two sanctioned by NASCAR. Not to mention the many missions that played such a prominent role in the history of Texas. Whatever the purpose of your visit, you should take time out for some of these San Antonio attractions.

San Antonio Speedway
There are two NASCAR sanctioned race tracks in the State of Texas and this is one of them. Do USRA Modifieds, USRA Trucks, NASCAR Twin 50's, and Road Runner Twin 20's sound familiar? It all happens at the San Antonio Speedway! How about the NASCAR Elite Series or the Sportsman Twin 25's? Leave the TV at home and get on out to the track where the real action is!

San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo
Did you know that the world's largest junior livestock show is right here in the SBC Center? Steer wrestling and bull riding are events for the big boys, but there's plenty of action for the 4 to 7 year old cowpokes as well when they compete in the serious sport of "mutton busting!" Eat some cotton candy and catch one of the rides on the midway.
